Purpose

Our mission is to build on the unique BWR heritage of Sweden and the Nordics by advancing the technology to meet future energy needs in the region. Achieved by establishing a Nordic program for a new generation of safe, sustainable, and cost-efficient nuclear power plants.

We design and deliver a world-class BWR-N plant while building a robust Nordic BWR ecosystem to support both existing and a future (4–6 units) BWR fleets.

Vision: From the Nordics – to the World

Baseload Power through Experience & Wisdom

NNE develops and delivers BWR-N nuclear power plants for baseload production. Enabling the Nordics to spearhead the revitalization of BWR technology and provide the world with sustainable energy, that is stable and reliable.

Strategic Aspirations

Leadership in BWR Nuclear Technological Innovation

Continue to develop and enhance BWR technology and gas-cooled micro modular reactors (MMRs), and conduct R&D in both gas-cooled and light water-cooled reactors, in order to offer the most advanced and efficient solutions on the market.

Nordic and Global Expansion

Get a strong foothold in Finland and Sweden. In the next phase, expand to Denmark and Norway, as well as other countries around the Baltic Sea.

After this achievement, establish a presence in international markets through strategic partnerships and local collaborations, becoming a global leader in nuclear energy, especially for the BWR and MMR segments.
