Through experience and wisdom, NNE will develop and deliver nuclear power plants for base load production. This will enable the Nordics to spearhead the revitalization of BWR technology and provide the world with sustainable energy that’s stable and reliable.

The team has 500 years of combined nuclear expertise, spanning project management, plant and process engineering, I&C, power supply, safety analysis, materials, and commissioning.

Over 40 years of experience in nuclear power, with leadership roles at ABB Atom and Westinghouse in plant development, sales, project management, uprates, and modernization.
Experienced in plant operations and responsible for the conceptual design of severe accident mitigation measures implemented across all Nordic BWRs. Served as senior adviser at Vattenfall AB.
Johan Engström started his career at the Barsebäck power plant, supporting the plant operator.

Extensive project leadership in nuclear and energy systems, including commissioning Olkiluoto 1 and leading upgrades at Oskarshamn and Forsmark.
